Which class is right for you?

I offer classes to support writers at every stage.

Write for Kids

This three-course series gives you the knowledge needed to launch your journey as a writer for kids and teens. Write for Kids is a well-loved course that has created a larger community—the Write for Kids community. I’ve proudly been teaching this series since 2011.

The 24-25 is underway. Click to learn more below, and to join the early-notification list for the 25-26 series which starts in October.

Write Story. Right Mindset.

Write Story! Right Mindset! is a powerful class, fusing character and story development right alongside your own writer mindset. It’s an 8 week course that combines self-guided weekly content with live weekly meetings and interactive forum.

Offered twice a year: January & June.

Writing Picture Books

This ONLINE class takes a deep dive into writing picture books. It will be offered Spring 2025 as part of the University of Washington’s Continuing and Professional Education.

This class is currently underway. Look for it again in the spring of 2026. (Don’t want to wait that long? Check out my Write for Kids series.)

A summer course, exclusively for former students.

If you’re craving community, accountability, and creative momentum (or just movement, period) this summer, I hope to see you in WWYA!

Registration through emailed invite only (starting May 13). If you don’t receive an invite, please reach out to me directly.
